Head of Operations

As Head of Operations, Ben plays a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless execution across all operational facets.

Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, Greg Poapst, Ben is key for supporting the firm’s overarching objectives. As the first employee at Fundviews, Ben has been instrumental in shaping the operational foundation of the firm.

Ben is a Florida International University graduate with a BBA in Finance and subsequently completed his MBA at Florida International University’s Chapman Graduate School of Business. He spent some time with TD Bank prior to working at Fundviews.

Operations Associate

Alejandro is a Universidad ORT Uruguay graduate, earning his first degree in Business Administration and Management. He is currently completing his final semester to obtain a second degree in Accounting.

He began his professional career as an auditor at PwC Uruguay, one of the Big Four firms, where he progressed from an intern to a Senior role. Later, he transitioned to the position of Fund Accounting & Investor Relations at Peninsula Investments Group, focusing primarily on the U.S. real estate market.

Fund Accounting Associate

Joe Jansen is a Fund Accounting Associate at Fundviews Capital, where he is responsible for reviewing monthly and quarterly fund accounting processes, preparing and analyzing NAV calculations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting for alternative investment vehicles. His role includes overseeing capital account balances, assisting with audits, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and operational standards across multiple strategies.

Joe brings extensive experience in audit, assurance, and risk management, with prior roles at Deloitte, UHY, and Foundation Risk Partners. At Deloitte, he specialized in auditing asset management companies with exposure to corporate credit, asset-backed finance, private equity, and real estate investments, and also contributed to fund audit engagements. His work in IT audit and internal controls has given him a unique understanding of the operational and technological frameworks that support financial integrity.

Joe earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from St. John’s University after migrating from the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at University of Central Florida.

Investor Relations Associate

Carolina Menache is an Investor Services Associate at Fundviews Capital, where she is responsible for managing investor onboarding, coordinating capital flows, and maintaining strong client relationships. She plays a key role in ensuring operational accuracy and timely execution of transactions, working closely with the operations and investment teams to deliver a seamless investor experience.

Before joining Fundviews Capital, Carolina developed expertise in loan processing and real estate closings, managing complex documentation and compliance requirements for high-volume transactions. She also gained experience in collateral analysis and client communications within the private equity sector, providing her with a strong foundation in financial operations and investor services.

Carolina holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Real Estate and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Florida International University.

Rotational Summer Analyst - Intern

Matteo is currently attending the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University- the alma mater of our CEO, Greg Poapst- pursuing his Bachelors in Finance.

He is also apart of the Sprott Student Investment Fund where he researches and presents various public equities.

Operations Associate - Intern.

James is a rising senior at the University of Miami pursuing a B.B.A in Finance. James is a part-time student athlete, working with the University of Miami Women’s Basketball program, and plans on picking up a Sports Administration minor.

Prior to Fundviews Capital, James worked in data entry with salesforce for The RIA Network Group.

Design Consultant

Julio César is a Design Consultant for Fundviews Capital, where he supports the creation of visual communication strategies, marketing materials, and investor-facing presentations. His work focuses on enhancing brand consistency and ensuring that all design outputs align with the firm’s identity and professional standards.

He has over 10 years of experience in graphic design, visual communication, and branding, working across sectors such as finance, technology, and education. Prior to working with Fundviews Capital, Julio collaborated with agencies and private clients, developing brand identities, packaging, and editorial design projects.

Technology and Cybersecurity Consultant

Thomas Aliberti and his firm TAAUS Secure Technologies provides technology and cybersecurity services as an outsourced service. He brings over 20 years of experience specializing in Infrastructure, Network and Security Engineering solutions. Thomas and his company provide best of breed technology solutions to ensure that Fundviews Capital and Fundviews client’s data is secure and handled with care and proper oversight.
